Men: Classic black tuxedos and black bow ties only 
Appropriate shoes. Socks required.

Women: Floor-length gowns. Block heels are recommended. Cocktail hour will be on grass.

Please avoid: white and cream (reserved for the bride), light blue (to allow the bridesmaids to stand out beautifully), and red. 

When in doubt, feel free to dress slightly more formal rather than casual.
